Use instructions:

• to give users positive and negative instructions — things like do's and don'ts, correct and incorrect requirements, and complete and incomplete tasks
• to explain what a feature does and doesn't do

• Don't have too many points in one instruction list.

• Keep each point to a single line.

• Use as few words as possible.

• Points should be statements, not questions.

• All points in a list should relate to one another, and follow the same format.
